1)    4^th   October 2017Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi College of Arts & Science conducted Inter-Collegiate competition in that our department students have participated and out of seven events students won 6 prizes

2)    4^th   October 2017 Islamia Women’s College conducted Inter-Collegiate competition in that our department students have participated and won 8 prizes out of nine events.       

3)    6^th   October 2017 Shanmugha Industries College of Arts & Science conducted Inter-Collegiate competition  in that our department Head Dr.G.Deepalakshmi has invited as Chief Guest

4)    6^th   October 2017 Shanmugha Industries College of Arts & Science conducted Inter-Collegiate competition in that our department students have participated and out of nine events students won 3 prizes.     

5)    26^th   October 2017 Islamia men’s College conducted National level conference in that our department students have participated.

6)    26^th   October 2017 Islamia men’s College conducted National level conference in that our department HOD Dr.G.Deepalakshmi and Ms.A.Athiyaveni presented a paper.
